Network card issue

Hi

I have two DL380 servers clustered using RHCS .One of my network card fails to respond intermittently and then it comes back and work properly..

Once i changed my card ..but no use

Is there any relation information into /var/log/messages? Do you have the Proliant support pack installed?

Prolient pack is not installed on the server..

In my log files shows one error related to the cluster like..

agent " fence_ilo"reports:
fencing nod "devdbnode"
devapp fenced[3522]:agent "fence-ILO'reports : cant call method "configure" on an undefined value at /sbin/fence-ilo_line 155

nothing else related to network or cluster

what is your RHEL version? dod you use the latest update?

which network driver do you use? (/etc/modules.conf)

Could be due to the speed setting on the card. It has to match what is set on the port.

run this to find out the speed.

# ethtool eth0 (e.g.)
