    <description>you must install telnet server through rpmfind.net or something else and then thier must be telnet server exist in other machines if you have to login to the other machines through telnet.</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It would really help to know what Linux distribution you use.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Most install a telnet server but do not configure it to start. Why? Because telnet authenticates in clear text and is thus not secure.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cd /etc/xinetd.d&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check the telnet file&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Change disable = yes to disble = no&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;restart the xinetd daemon.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Your milage may vary.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
