      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If you use vsftpd, you can edit the file in /etc/ftpusers (or something like this) you can give permissions to particular user.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Note:Please do assign points if you find the answers useful.       <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We cannot give permission to particular user who could transfer files through FTP. You might probably want to place files available for external world in a secured path of folder.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;Srikanth</description>
