Hi,

I'd sugest you to look at the 'support' section of VMWare website. Create an account there, at it might prove useful to access the community support forums. Their knowledge base is usually very useful as well. All of this is accessible through their support site: http://www.vmware.com/support/

Cheers
Gonçalo

You can find many technical documents / resources on the VMware web site itself.

The following page has many PDF documents describing various aspects of VMware ESX (now known as VMware Infrastructure 3).

http://www.vmware.com/resources/techresources/

More specifically, you may start off with the VMware Infrastructure (ESX 3) at:

http://www.vmware.com/files/pdf/ESXServer3i_architecture.pdf

Hope this helps!
