The servers Proliant 360 and 380 with P400 SmartArray controller are installed with Raid 1+0 configured at Bios Level.

I've installed Redhat 5.1 (Kernel 2.6.18-53.1.6) using the built-in CCISS driver.

When I do a fdisk -l I get two disk where I should get only one.

I've tried with the HP CCISS driver: cpq_cciss-3.6.18-11.rhel5.x86_64.rpm

But exact same thing (see below).
What's the problem here. The physical array should show only one disk. Did I miss something.

Regards,

[root@pm00 ~]# fdisk -l

Disk /dev/cciss/c0d0: 146.7 GB, 146778685440 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 17844 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/cciss/c0d0p1   *           1          13      104391   83  Linux
/dev/cciss/c0d0p2              14       17844   143227507+  83  Linux

Disk /dev/cciss/c0d1: 146.7 GB, 146778685440 bytes
255 heads, 63 sectors/track, 17844 cylinders
Units = cylinders of 16065 * 512 = 8225280 bytes

Device Boot Start End Blocks Id System
/dev/cciss/c0d1p1   *           1       17844   143331898+  8e  Linux LVM
