    <description>hi ..this is manab..need some help hrom u people..&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I installed RHEL4 2nd(64 bit) edition oon my HCL global line server.I left some unused space of my HDD for later used....but when i created new partition named /dev/sda13 (ext3) and mounted it in /linux4 named folder ..though it mounted.. but it shows as removeable media ...in my my GNOME desktop and when I opened computer icon...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Cant make any idea....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards &lt;BR /&gt;Manabjyoti</description>

      <description>Did you configure the new partition in /etc/fstab?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If the partition is not described in /etc/fstab, the desktop may assume it is not intended to be a permanent mounting, so it will display it as a removable media.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;MK</description>
