      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Actually pam is not a daemon services. its just authenticate services or users to specific usage. you need to restart the affected daemons.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For Example, if you change pam related to apache specifications, you need to restart the httpd daemon.</description>

      <description>The only time you may have to restart (reboot) anything is if you mung a pam file so that no one can login.</description>
