Redirecting Netdump server to another filesystem

I have read the Red Hat documentation on how to set up Netdump server.

By default the vmcore file is written to /var/crash directory.

Is there a way to redirect the vmcore file to another directory for example /tmp/crash ?

According to the netdump-server man page, you can specify the option --dumpdir:

I don't have it installed so I don't know if you can specify that option in /etc/netdump.conf.

i did not see anyhting in man netdump. But you can create link while /var/crash pointing to what ever original location you need
