64 bit RHEL 5.2 install on Blade BL360c - G1

I did an RHEL 5.2 install (X86_64 kernel) on a HP blade. The install went through fine. But the server does not boot up.

I get the error:

root (hd16.0)
Error 12: Invalid Device requested.

Is there something i need to change in BIOS to make this work?

Correction.. It's BL460C - G1 blade

This is most probably due to in correct boot path.
Correct the boot order to root(hd0.0) using grub.
you may have to boot the blade to recovery mode with install DVD

Yes.. The server was SAN connected and strangely it was pointing to one of the SAN disks in the grub.conf. Once i fixed it, the server booted fine.

I made sure to disable the SAN disks on the other servers and the installation put the correct entry in grub.conf
