I need to create a partition bigger than 2 TB but HP software limit it. <BR />How can i bypass this limit?<BR />MSA 20 has 12 disk (500 GB each one). I want to create only a partition of 6 TB. The limit is hard-coded in the internal tables and also restricted by the SCSI protocol command set being used (32-bit block counters addressing 512 byte blocks).<BR /><BR />You do have to create multiple logical drives (apparently what you call 'partitions') and then combine them via LVM.
