    <description>I don't have one of these to play with, but the description of the problem points to the BIOS not using LBA or other large-block addressing type of scheme.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I take it you've turned this on?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If this isn't it, what options do you have in terms of disk addressing types?</description>

      <description>Pavilion under Linux.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Bios shows 5.7G&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Linux Red Hat 7.3 only seems to recognize 2G, not matter how we play with the bios.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Are we in need of a flash bios update?  If so, where in hp's world do I find it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Steve.</description>

      <description>Seems we may need do insert some kind of Maxtor disk manager into the mix.  Seems this is a common problem for the Pavilion series computer.</description>
