There is no reason to double-post.

People saw your last post, and like me don't know how to best help you.

Given the content however, it doesn't suprise me.

The question you've asked, and what you've said you're doing do not appear related.

I've never used 'Yahoo Webcam' before (and have no intention of doing so in the future), and have no knowledge of the networking specifics required to get it working.

Try looking at the technical details of this software and figuring out what is actually required.

As for your last question, it seems to me that this purise is an innapropraite use of 'squid'.

Squid is a web cache, proxy server. Whilst it can bounce ports which you've configured, it's not really using Squid's magic.

Unfortunately YES .... squid is not fully functional proxy like microsoft ISA server but it does it's duty very well as HTTP/FTP proxy.

Solution of your situation is to try some free SOCKS proxy for linux or Configure NAT masquerade using iptablesin the linux server so that all clients behind the proxy server will be able to use all service you allow with masquearded public IP address.

regards,
U.SivaKumar
