https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-linux/ipmi-over-lan-on-rx7640-for-rhcs-fence/m-p/4315010#M34566 ipmi over lan on rx7640 for rhcs fence<BR /><BR />Hello.<BR /><BR />Customer is trying build redhat cluster suite between rx6600 &amp; rx7640 rhel4U7-IA64.<BR /><BR />The problem is trying using the fence_ipmi for power status.<BR /><BR />on the rx6600 the command works but on rx7640 its failed.<BR /><BR />same when runnig ipmitool ... chassis power status , works for rx6600 , failed for rx7640.<BR /><BR />other ipmitool on rx7640 works. <BR />i think its beacuse rx7640 is cell based.<BR /><BR />Any idea if its supported ???<BR /><BR />Any idea for crating other fence device ?<BR /><BR />Regards<BR /><BR />Shalom.
