linux default kernal limitations of 32 process

Hi ,

Can some one please let me know what kernal parameter that needs to changed from default kernal parameter to see more then 32 process of the sam instances .. Can you please help ....

There should be no such limitation.

What exactly are you doing?
What are you seeing?
What would you expect to see?

there is no real limitation indeed, linux has been known to run on a 1000cpu machine for example, but some distro's set a limit when they compile the kernel package. redhat used to have one that was limited to 2 or 4 cpu's.
if i'm not mistaken, a limit can be set when configuring kernel source before compile.
