    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I have a Linux DL380 G3 with red hat, it has a LUN presented from an EVA4000 that was formated ext3. And I want to present that LUN in other server without losing any data, is it possible? if it's not, what can i do???</description>

      <description>Yes it's possible. Umount the lun, unpresent the vdisk, present to the other server, rescan the disks, and mount it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;But, if you have the Business Copy license, you can create a vsnapclone/vsnapshot and present to the other server.</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I'd recommend doing this on the disk array.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can use the EVA to take the disk away from one server and present it to a second.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Business copy as Ivan recommends is even better and less risky.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
