Mount ext3 on other server

Hi,

I have a Linux DL380 G3 with red hat, it has a LUN presented from an EVA4000 that was formated ext3. And I want to present that LUN in other server without losing any data, is it possible? if it's not, what can i do???

Yes it's possible. Umount the lun, unpresent the vdisk, present to the other server, rescan the disks, and mount it.

But, if you have the Business Copy license, you can create a vsnapclone/vsnapshot and present to the other server.

Shalom,

I'd recommend doing this on the disk array.

You can use the EVA to take the disk away from one server and present it to a second.

Business copy as Ivan recommends is even better and less risky.
