Problem wiht hp-snmp-agents last psp package of Proliant DL380G2

Hi all,
I have problem with hp-snmp-agents package from PSP software bundle and DL385G2.
Starting this service cause my server to hangs, and system detects ASR.
I put the last firmware and the last version of software , RedHat Enterpise 4, but nothing helps

I recommend you go to a previous release of PSP.

This has happened to me from time to time with poorly tested PSP releases.

Hi Cvetan,

I need some more info regarding this.
1. What is the version of hp-snmp-agents you are using?
2. What is the firmware version?
3. Are you using Redhat 4 update 7?
4. If possible please attach the /var/spool/compaq/cma.lg file .

Hi
First I update the OS. It is
Oracle Enterprise Linux 4 update 7 ( it is the same as Red HAT but is supported by Oracle.
The kernel version is
2.6.9-78.0.13.0.1.EL-largesmp-x86_64

After this I install the last PSP
psp-8.15.rhel4.x86_64.en.tar.gz

After restart the server freezed, so after little investigation I found that the problem is
hp-snmp-agents-8.1.1-22.rhel4.x86_64

I put the last firmware 8.30.

I tryed to reinstall the psp, but with no success.
When boot with the older kernel this module doesn't start when are loaded init scripts but if I try to start it manualy it freezes the server again.
And there is nothing in the logs,neither in OS logs neither in ILO, After some time the servers makes ASR.

For RHEL4.7 it is working fine.....
