      <description>Â¿What UNIX flavor are you talking about?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Normally, you can't, unless you use SCO Unix with foxpro and run the linux ABI kernel patch.</description>

      <description>It's going to depend on what software you want to use on the Linux machine. Most opensource apps are going to be available without compilation. It is likely, though that you are not going to be able to use the same commercial software on the Linux machine.</description>

      <description>the unix workstation is probably not using intel x86 cpu's, so you will have a problem already right there.</description>

      <description>no, you cannot to run the same binaries, but it is very possible that vendor provides linux version of this software.</description>
