We have installed proliant ML570 ( smart array 5302/64 ) and SuSE SLES 7 kernel 2.4.18-148 from SuSE webmaintanance. Compaq suggest to install
cpq_cciss_SuSESLES7-2.4.32-1.src.rpm
but for this kerne version the system goes in kernel panic. The patch for the kernel version 2.4.7 seem to be ok. It's righ to use this compaq patch or the version kernel SUSE SLES-2.4.18-148 contain a newer cciss.o driver ?
