    <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Probably, the installation is checking /etc/redhat-release and failing.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Though Centos has the same source as Red Hat, you are asking a support question. HP is probably going to tell you the OS is not supported, even if you do the change to redhat-release file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;IF the install works and all functionality is present, you probably do not care about the lack of support.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If being able to call HP response center and get support is important to you then you might in this instance want to go with genuine red hat OS.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Can anyone tell me if there is a way to install the HPSMH (hpsmh-2.1.15-210.i386.rpm ) on Centos 5.2? I keep getting an error unsupported operating system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>You probably need to modify /etc/redhat-release to look like a RHEL5 system and then put it back after you install and configure all the hpasm stuff.</description>
