      <description>thanks but is there something better than this one. is there something that references almost every HP-UX command that we use vs linux commands.</description>

      <description>Absolutely NOT possible!&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You will be able to find some basics, but in general tools available in HP-UX, Solaris, Linux, Irix, Aix, SCO, etc... are so different that you can not compare.  Linuxconf can in a sense compare to SAM, but when Linux does not use volume groups the same as HP-UX how can you compare vgimport?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Some things just dont exist, so there is no equivalent.  I.E.  set_parms in HP-UX.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best bet is to look for a light weight book to give you just basics of each OS.  I.E. "Unix System Administration Guide published by O'Reilly and Associates".&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Shannon</description>
