Red Hat Installation getting hanged in start itself

Hi,

I am trying to install Red Hat 4.0 on my new HP Compaq Dx2480 Microtower base unit PC, but its installation getting hanged after the first screen.

Which update are you using?

You may need a later update to take care of hardware issues.

Also, check the OS support on this computer via the website. Many base HP Compaq systems have no Linux support.

What type of 'hang' is it? Are you still able to use your input devices (keyboard)? If you can, try hitting Alt+Right-Arrow-Key, which should bring up the console with diagnostic/log information. That might give you a clue as to what is stopping the install.

Hi,

No, I am not able to use my Keyboard as it also got hanged after installtion got hanged.
Also, I need to confirm that whether dx2480 PCs support Red Hat Linux or not.
