Linux can be server for almos any service. What specific service do you need?

you want to configure this server for what purpose? it all depend on your requirement and what is your server's hardware configuration, (disk space, physical memory etc.)

this question can not be answered, at least not in a forum like this. it takes study and months, if not years, to get any good in unix admining.
