      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; In suse linux, By default "postfix" is running as default mail server.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; But in Redhat linux sendmail is default mail server. in redhat we are using below command to send mails.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  # mail -s "subject" emailaddress&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; like this, what is the command syntax used in suse linux</description>

      <description>Hi I can able to send mails locally. that is to local users.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Ex:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; # mail -s "hai" ze4egi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; here "ze4egi" is local user available in that server itself.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; But i want to send mail to the users availabe in other domain. &lt;BR /&gt;  &lt;BR /&gt; for that, i think we have to configure postfix.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; but i dont to know how to configure.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; what is the configuration file for postfix.</description>

      <description>mail is an universal command to send mail through MTA &lt;BR /&gt;and sendmail, postfix, qmail etc. all are MTA (Mail Transport Agent) which only carry and distribute the mail.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;so you can also use mail -s in SUSE.</description>
