how to update the NIS databse in linux

Hi

We have configured NIS server in suse linux. i have created some users in server (/etc/passwd). Now i want to update all created users in NIS server. then only the users can login from NIS client using NIS server password.

In Hp-ux, we use "/var/yp/ypmake" to update NIS server.

Like this, what is the command used for suse linux.

How we can achieve this.

Hi Kumar,
Its always the same as in ux. Also you can do the same thing with
#make -C /var/yp
