how is possble to know the red hat cluster suite release is installed on the server ?

Is there contained in a file ?
Is there a command ?

Shalom,

RHCS is actually a combination of rpms.

rpm -qa | grep rgmanager
rpm -qa | grep magma
rpm -qa | grep cman

This will give you some indication that the Cluster Suite is installed.

my problem is to know which release of red hat cluster suite has been installed, ex 4.6 or 4.7 or other.

For O.S. linux, I found this information in /etc/redhat-release but for cluster suite ?

Open /usr/bin/system-config-cluster GUI and you may see the information there

Match the original data from my first rpm against the http://www.redhat.com site. The version numbers are posted on the website.

If you post the output of the commands I originally asked, I can do the back end work for you.
