    <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please let me know why my server does'nt use the swap space allocated to it and it uses the total mem. This causes the server to slow down when I login the prompt does'nt appears soon&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;EG:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# free -tm&lt;BR /&gt;             total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached&lt;BR /&gt;Mem:          1000        924         76          0        136         79&lt;BR /&gt;-/+ buffers/cache:        708        292&lt;BR /&gt;Swap:         2055          0       2055&lt;BR /&gt;Total:        3056        924       2131&lt;BR /&gt;#&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;How can i solve this issue ?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;When i execute the TOP cmd the session gets hang up and even when i ty to open a file.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Please post ur replies&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks &lt;BR /&gt;Haris</description>
