      <description>What kind of storage are you using? ASM, RAW devices, file system, ext3, OCFS, other?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check your storage devices, specially, if you have SAN attached devices.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This problem should be reported to Metalink, this could also be an Oracle BUG or an OS patch is required.</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would check free space on the system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There may not be enough free space on the file system to write the temporary files necessary for the backup.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
