      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am new to amanda Backup on Linux. I just instlled it on RHEL 5.0 and I need to configure it to use HP Storage Works LTO-3 to backup all our Linux/Oracle servers and I am limited on time.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks for the help</description>

      <description>I did follow Amanda 15-min and I am geeting errors in th email after I run test amdump:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is what I am getting in th email:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;*** A TAPE ERROR OCCURRED: [Could not find a tape to use].&lt;BR /&gt;There are 90932K of dumps left in the holding disk.&lt;BR /&gt;Run amflush to flush them to tape.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;The next tape Amanda expects to use is: 1 new tape.&lt;BR /&gt;The next new tape already labelled is: Backup-012.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;FAILURE DUMP SUMMARY:&lt;BR /&gt;   bandev.curry.edu /usr/sct     lev 0  FAILED [Can't switch to degraded mode when using a new disk]&lt;BR /&gt;   bandev.curry.edu /usr/share   lev 0  FAILED [Can't switch to degraded mode when using a new disk]&lt;BR /&gt;   bandev.curry.edu /usr/lib     lev 0  FAILED [Can't switch to degraded mode when using a new disk]&lt;BR /&gt;   bandev.curry.edu /usr/java    lev 0  FAILED [Can't switch to degraded mode when using a new disk]&lt;BR /&gt;   bandev.curry.edu /usr/bin     lev 0  FAILED [Can't switch to degraded mode when using a new disk]&lt;BR /&gt;   bandev.curry.edu /usr/X11R6   lev 0  FAILED [Can't switch to degraded mode when using a new disk]</description>
