    <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;There appears to be sufficient free space on the volume group to do the command.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Normally I like to tell lvm what disk to use so the new logical volume ends up on the disk I intend for it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Check vgchange on the volume group. It may not be activated properly or in the correct mode.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We are getting the below error while we try to create new logical volume. Could you someone help to resolve the issue?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# lvcreate -L 4G vg03&lt;BR /&gt;  Aborting. Failed to activate new LV to wipe the start of it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It is a new volume group created with single disk.
