    <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I am facing performance issue in my V2500 server its having 2cpu and 2gbram &lt;BR /&gt;With Hp-ux11.00 and oracle8i.  More than 200 users using it.  If users are Increasing &lt;BR /&gt;The performance was very slow and both the cpu Load is more than 10 and the Idle time is 0 &lt;BR /&gt;I am here with attaching the top output and give the advices how to go about it.&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks in advance &lt;BR /&gt;Bye&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Step 1.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You need more output.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I've attached a script to help you.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;It collects data and measures it.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I guess I'd do a few things.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;First, repost to the HP-UX forum.  Next get the December 2002 patch bundle and do a complete installation.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;If its an OS componenent using too much resource it may be fixed in that bundle.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;My script, actually written for me years ago by HP and modified to run background by me will help you spot the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>You also need probably to increase the size of your shared memory areas so Oracle can get work done more efficiently.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Its kernel tune time.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Sorry, I blanked on the obvioius in your post.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
