      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can use the 'free' command:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ free&lt;BR /&gt;             total       used       free     shared    buffers     cached&lt;BR /&gt;Mem:       1026424    1009404      17020          0      82808     637328&lt;BR /&gt;-/+ buffers/cache:     289268     737156&lt;BR /&gt;Swap:      2064376       8508    2055868&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can also look at 'swaps' in the /proc filesystem, which should show all your swap devices if you have more than one:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;$ cat /proc/swaps&lt;BR /&gt;Filename                                Type            Size    Used    Priority&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/mapper/VolGroup00-LogVol01         partition       2064376 8508    -1&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;JP&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
