Red Hat Enterprise Linux 5 and rx2660

Hello.

I am not sure about this. I have a rx2660 server (Integrity Server) and i installed a RHLinux 5 but i do not have a graphical console, i just have a text console,graphical console is it not supported?

rx2660 has a VGA port and management LAN for iLO.So you should be able to get a graphical console.How are you accessing the console?Did you try iLO?

I checked behind the server and it does not have iLO port, the server has only MP LAN port, so i do not know if i can start a graphical console from the integrity server.

i was thinking about installation process, i do not know, but it could be when the server was installed the administrator does not install the graphic envioroment, does its possible? do you know how i can check this issue?

Are you able to access iLO web page properly.? What is your run level.?

Change vga driver name in x11 conf file

change to vesa

Finally i could solve my problem, i had to enable the VGA Console fro EFI menu.
