    <description>hmm fishy. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;first a reboot will not solve any disk full problems (linux is NOT windows) and full filesystems have no impact on the boot process.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;second why do the app owners request a reboot? linux is NOT windows. &lt;BR /&gt;shutting down their application and starting it up again should be all they need to worry about, no need to reboot. i never, ever, follow up such requests from app owners unless they have a pretty darn good reason (which 99,9% of the time, they will not have).</description>

      <description>On my production server two oracle filesystems or partitons are 100% full.. but OS file systems are okay&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;rebooting this server creates any problem</description>

      <description>Is any good reason for rebooting the server - like kernel upgrade for example. This will not solve you the problem with 100% full file systems.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;regards,&lt;BR /&gt;ivan</description>
