    <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;These SAN's are compatble.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Shut down all apps that use the SAN.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Use SAN utilities to copy the LUNS san to SAN.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Zone the new SAN the sam, and present the LUNS the same way and LUN number.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Shut down old DMX.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Move new DMX in place on the same zoning as the old. Bring it back up.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Restart the RHEL system.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This is a thumbnail guide.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>

      <description>We have RHEL 3.6 and power path 4.3.5 to connect to DMX 800. We are migrating SAN from DMX 800 to DMX 950. Can some one please guide us with the best approach and minimum downtime. Step by step solution is highly appreciated.</description>

      <description>I am not sure if those products are free. But you can chose the FS copy method if you can afford a down time.Again depend on the volume of data and the down time you can afford</description>

      <description>Another idea: If you want to minimize downtime, you could make an additional mirror to the new storage box. This way you can copy the data without downtime. After that, you could remove the other half of the mirror. Not sure if you can do it on Linux though, I dont have experience with Linux on storage...&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
