      <description>I use the command "mail.pl my_address &amp;lt; /tmp/file" can send mail to my mail box , the mail content is /tmp/file , but if I do not add &amp;lt; /tmp/file , the mail will not be send , it wait me to input data , then press cltr-d to send . &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Execpt use "&amp;lt; /tmp/file" , how can I send the mail to may mail box with the messages in /tmp/file ? thx</description>

      <description>Â¿Why are you searching for other methods of doing the same thing?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You could probably do:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cat /tmp/file | mail.pl &lt;OPTIONS&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;According to the online documentation, you can use the -a option to "attach" a file instead of sending as a body. I don't have the program to try that.&lt;/OPTIONS&gt;</description>
