      <description>My linux console is locked , it only pop some error message onto the console, I can't input any key , how can I reset the console ? thx.</description>

      <description>console locked.&lt;BR /&gt;try ctrl+z(stop the current process), ctrl+q(if scrolling is stopped), ctrl+c, ctrl+d. if no help, try restarting the console. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;you need to find which is causing this. normally there should be an entry in syslog.conf which causes this on hp box. not sure abt linux. dont have a box around.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;hth&lt;BR /&gt;-balaji</description>
