    <description>HI &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Recently i am facing issue with SSH.  I am accessing a server through putty but when i done ssh from other machine , i am able to acess machine but when i type EXIT command its not closing somewhere its hanging.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;what might be reason like ? In Putty also iam selecting ssh  only.</description>

      <description>Maybe this is not related to putty/ssh.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;You can have this behavior if you did started from this unix shell some services that are expected to return some exit code.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;From the ssh manual:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;----&lt;BR /&gt;ssh needs to hang, because it needs to wait:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;    * until it can be sure that command does not need more input.&lt;BR /&gt;    * until it can be sure that command does not produce more output.&lt;BR /&gt;    * until command exits because sshd needs to tell the exit status from command to ssh. &lt;BR /&gt;---&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best regards,&lt;BR /&gt;Horia.&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Shalom,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;This happens to me when I fire up a X/Motif application from ssh like this:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;xclock &amp;amp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;That backgrounds it, but its still talking to the terminal session. So if I try to exit it hangs the session.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;SEP</description>
