Dusan,

I would sign up for the mondo mailing list and post the question to Bruno. I monitor the list and the forum is pretty active and Bruno is typically pretty quick to respond.

I would doubt there is very much devel on this platform but you never know.

https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mondo-devel

Shalom,

My understanding is that mondo/rescue has not been done for Itanium.

Since the hardware architecture and restore needs are different, it is a fair amount of work to do this project.

You might want to see if http://acronis.com supports the platform, even though that will obviously cost money.

SEP

Hello,

In fact MondoRescue is indeed supported on ia64, even if I do not produce regularly packages for that platform.

THe best starting point as of today would be to use the latest test version under ftp://ftp.mondorescue.org/test (src.rpm or debian source depending on the distribution you're running)

EFI partition is supported, as well as GPT. But the tool has been much less used and tested on ia64? so as advised earlier, feel free to use our dedicated ML to reoprt problems or http://trac.mondorescue.org
