    <description>Hello MIKAP,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks a lot for your quick response ....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but have followed the steps i.e.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;{root}# mv mnttab mnttab.13042010&lt;BR /&gt;{root}# mount -a&lt;BR /&gt;{root}# bdf&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;but still its showing /dev/root on /   .&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Do I need to take reboot or need to do something else.... and the scenario that you have shown me via link given above... is showing proper output of lvlnboot -v....&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and in my case it showing&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;{root}# lvlnboot -v vg00&lt;BR /&gt;Boot Definitions for Volume Group /dev/vg00:&lt;BR /&gt;Physical Volumes belonging in Root Volume Group:&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c0t6d0 (0/0/0/2/0.6.0) -- Boot Disk&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/dsk/c2t6d0 (0/0/0/3/0.6.0) -- Boot Disk&lt;BR /&gt;Root LV not yet configured !! Mirror information will not be displayed&lt;BR /&gt;Boot: lvol1 on: /dev/dsk/c0t6d0&lt;BR /&gt;No Root Logical Volume configured&lt;BR /&gt;No Swap Logical Volume configured&lt;BR /&gt;No Dump Logical Volume configured&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;So, Need your assistance and help on this.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Best Regards,&lt;BR /&gt;LN&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi All,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Facing a problem!!!! Need your help...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Actually IN bdf Output am getting &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;/dev/root  instead of /dev/vg00/lvol3...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;--&amp;gt; have checked /etc/mnttab and there i found the wrong entry....&lt;BR /&gt;--&amp;gt; also have checked lvlnboot -v output and there i found the following output:-&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;----------------&lt;BR /&gt;{root}# lvlnboot -v vg00&lt;BR /&gt;Boot Definitions for Volume Group /dev/vg00:&lt;BR /&gt;Physical Volumes belonging in Root Volume Group:&lt;BR /&gt;        /dev/dsk/c0t6d0 (0/0/0/2/0.6.0) -- Boot Disk&lt;BR /&gt;        /dev/dsk/c2t6d0 (0/0/0/3/0.6.0) -- Boot Disk&lt;BR /&gt;Root LV not yet configured !!
