    <description>Thanks for your response,&lt;BR /&gt;The sshd service is running and openssl seems to be installed in the 'installed packages list'.&lt;BR /&gt; The server has open access to the internet (no proxy) ... Port 443 is open as well since I can telnet to rhn.&lt;BR /&gt;Can you tell me how to check on OpenSSL config files and/or how to make sure is working properly?&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt; Just got a new server Redhat ES5.       <description>Verify you have the OpenSSL packages installed, and also, if you are going through a proxy to the internet, you need to setup /etc/sysconfig/rhn/up2date with your proxy settings.</description>

      <description>You may have just happened to hit RedHat while their servers were having issues. This happens more often than they would care to admit.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I would try opening a console, and run "rhn_register" again, and see if the problem persists.</description>
