I have a dl380 g3 running Linux. I want to remotely access it from my laptop running windows is that possible?

you mean VNC?

On Linux Host:

vncpasswd (set password)
vncserver :99
vncserver -kill :99
cd ~/.vnc
vi xstarup
change last line to :
gnome-session &
vncserver :99

Now on your WIndows or any other Web Browser:

http://yourlinux.dom.com:5899

I need to login into the linux server and export it onto the windows server.

Then the above recipe should work sir.

No need to even install a VNC Viewer on your Widnows machine.
