move mail folders

Hello everybody , :-)
I want to move the defalut location of sendmail inbox files (/var/spool/mail) to another disk for space reasons. I am using Slackware 8.0 and gnu-pop3d.
Can anyone tell me the major steps I have to make in this process ?

Hi,

Install your new disk.
Mount it has /var/spool/mail2 and copy your data to the new disk.

Then configure sendmail to use /var/spool/mail2 or make a link with ln .

I suggest that you try this in a test environment first. Don't try this live on a production server.
