    <description>I just upgraded from Hp-UX 11.0 to 11.11 and I can not&lt;BR /&gt;process a make recovery tape.&lt;BR /&gt;This is the message I get in the /var/opt/ignite/logs/makrec.log1 &lt;BR /&gt;Cannot create SYSCMDS   ; no space on the LIF volume&lt;BR /&gt;make_medialif: error - lifcp SYSCMDS failed, probable insufficient size for /var/tmp/uxinstlf.recovery&lt;BR /&gt;How do I fix this?</description>

      <description>Hi,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;according to this: &lt;A href="http://www.software.hp.com/RELEASES-MEDIA/notices/5990-3569.htm" target="_blank"&gt;http://www.software.hp.com/RELEASES-MEDIA/notices/5990-3569.htm&lt;/A&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;HP has created patches PHSS_27407 for HP-UX 11.0 and PHSS_27406 for HP-UX 11i to resolve this issue&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;I never had that problem myself but I think those patch would fix it unless they are already installed !&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Thanks,&lt;BR /&gt;JP&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;</description>

      <description>Hi&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;  try command make_tape_recovery ,as this is better cmd than make_recovery ,hp recommends using make_tape_recovery cmd&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;apply GOLD patch for 11i  december 2002&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Rizwan&lt;BR /&gt;</description>
