      <title>Compressed Filesystem Support on RHEL?</title>

      <description>Planning to do a Proof of Concept build of a NAS/Fileserver out of RHEL.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Does anyone know if there are already fully supported compression (on the fly) on the various Filesystems?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Looking at ZFS but the fact that it is still FUSE (even though stable and "fast enough") is a bit disconcerting. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;We've other options -- like FreeNAS or OpenFiler but that is just unthinkable right now.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;TIA!</description>

      <description>I'm not aware of any support for such a fs in RH. btrfs does have zlib support, but it's not in RH yet.</description>
