XP256 with linux

I have a linux red hat 7.3 with a HBA Qlogic 2200 and I need to register the WWN from the HBA. The problem is that the numbers from (physically) the HBA does not appear to be right.
Does anyone know how to check the WWN from a qlogic HBA under red hat, something like fcmsutil on hpux?

Hi,

You can find out WWN number from SAN swith you can see active port either using browser or command line it will show which port is connected to whcih wwn number.

If you are using the qla2200 module:

cat /proc/scsi/qla2200/0

==>
SCSI Device Information:
scsi-qla0-adapter-node=200000e08b08a8d8;

OK, i solved the problem using the utility of the HBA.
But now i found another problem, i can not boot with the xp connected to the linux machine, if i try to boot connected, it gives kernel panic..
anyone knows what can be?

What is the last few lines of output before the panic happens? What fc driver and hba are you using?

Sorry for the last message. I I just reread the original message again and noticed you are using a qlogic 2200 hba, but none-the-less, what driver are you using for it?
