      <description>If it's RH or Fedora, you should be able to do a yum update or up2date on RHEL5&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;Be specific as to the Linux you are using as installation methods vary.</description>

      <description>the kernel Id doesn't say what Distro you are using, Ubuntu, Redhat, Fedora, SUSE, etc, will all have a bit different way of doing things. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;For Fedora using yum is fairly simple. &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;# yum update ssh &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;for Ubuntu &lt;BR /&gt;apt-get update ssh &lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;these are the top two.</description>

      <description>In some cases you can do:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;cat /etc/issue   &lt;BR /&gt;or&lt;BR /&gt;cat /etc/release&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;and that will tell you which distribution you have.</description>
