Hi, you can download the Fedora iso images and toast your 3 CDs, then you can boot from 1st CD and upgrade your system.

Frank.

Being Rh9 no more manteineed I suggest you to use the latest patches and stop upgrading if you don't have to.
There are a lot of considerations to do about it:
- the hw vendor supports linux (eg. hp) if so check hp.com/linux to find out a policy of upgrade.
- do you _really_ need the latest patches/packages?

You can download latest rh9 patches from rh site (i suggesto you mirroring whole ftp directory tree using wget ;-)

Else you can install and configure yum
(find on google) but I suggest to shift entirely to fedora instead of doing it..

Pace, R.

There are a couple of small problems with the upgrades. It does reset some files such as /etc/dhcpd.conf to their defaults. it also removed my Alcatel Speedtouch drivers.

My advice is to take a backup first, and keep it handy.
Hello Roger,

you can get fedora via http://fedora.redhat.com

The latest stable version is Core 1, the latest released is Test 2 for Core 2. Core 2 will use the 2.6 kernel series, which is required for some of the more recent peripherals.

Greetings, Martin
