topic psp711 install problems on RHEL3 in Operating System - Linux https://community.hpe.com/t5/operating-system-linux/psp711-install-problems-on-rhel3/m-p/4857299#M44832 having the same problems as with psp7.10 installing it on a DL380 G3, RHEL 3.0, <BR />Linux gcs-qdxint01 2.4.21-9.0.1.ELsmp #1 SMP Mon <BR />Feb 9 22:26:51 EST 2004 i686 i686 i386 GNU/Linux<BR /><BR />error: RPM_FORCE_NPTL is set, LD_ASSUME_KERNEL is not set, but the thread environment is still not NPTL<BR />Installation of this component FAILED because of an error in the RPM installation.<BR /><BR /><BR />ran rpm --rebuilddb beforehand, no problems<BR />cleared out the hpverdb.xml as wel.<BR />attached script logging for <BR />./install711.sh --nui --debug<BR />tar includes hpverdb.xml and hppldu.log<BR /><BR />reran the script after changing LD_ASSUME_KERNEL to 2.4.21. No change.<BR /><BR />Hopefully Michael can offer some advise...
