I have not heard about this for Linux yet, I guess this is a HP-UX utility. Even searching on Google was not successful

host_to_named is the command used to
configure the DNS:
If you want to configure DNS on linux

After getting used to hosts_to_named on HP-UX (translate a /etc/hosts files to DNS database files; never had inconsistencies in forward and reverse lookups) I've been looking for something like that for Linux. I could not find it...

Would be nice on Windows too?!
