1) you should check MD5 checksum [md5sum command] of *iso files

2) you should burn these files as images, not as files.

Hi,

I am not able to install Redhat WS Version 3 on DL380 G4 because it is not detecting the 2 SCSI HDD. How do i go about now?

Is there any patches like update 3 need to be installed? Where to get these patches and how to pre-install it after I have configured RAID at BIOS.

Please advise. Thanks.

You should download ISO images of installation CDs for RHEL 3.0 WS update 4 from RHN site [rhn.redhat.com].

BTW, before Linux installation you should configure "logical disk[s]" using RAID's BIOS or RAID utility from SmartCD.

Hi,

I have tried to download ISO images from Fedora Project site. The ISO images are:
- FC3-x86_64-disc1.iso
- FC3-x86_64-disc2.iso
- FC3-x86_64-disc3.iso
- FC3-x86_64-disc4.iso

Then, I burned them into CD-R, respectively by using nero6 application.

I have tried to boot up from the 1st CD. But, it seems like couldn't be detected by the server.

Is there anything wrong from the steps?

Please advise.
